2020 Ayurveda Wellness Coach certification for health & wellness professionals
What will life look like when you apply the ayurvedic principles of doshas, dhatus, agni and prana, to understand balance of the body and mind? Watch the transformation in strength of the body’s tissues, digestive fire, and how you develop practices that augment health. For example, vata types generally benefit their overactive body-minds with gentle grounding poses, foods, and routines, but find it hard to focus, while kapha types are encouraged to move their overly-grounded bodies with more vigorous and disciplined practices to tone their muscles and increase inner fire, and get help others learn how to learn.
The aim of this course is to train and certify graduates to competently use Ayurveda in their own lives as an example for their clients, guiding them with practices that will ground their health and aid people with mild imbalances. The authentic teachings of ayurveda are combined with practical instruction on CIM (complementary and integrative medicine), guidance on setting up a professional practice, and self-care.
Started in 2007, this 530-hour training in Ayurveda was created for people seeking excellence. It integrates the science and art of Ayurveda, delving into ancient concepts and practices of self-care, observation, routines of the day and season, nutrition, herbs, pharmacy, lifestyle choices, and detoxification - alongside hatha yoga āsana, prānayama, meditation and knowledge of self. We discuss the deeper understanding of today’s world of modern medical concepts and practice of wellness/health professions.
The DINacharya Institute has been successfully teaching the Ayurveda Wellness Coach (Level 1) and Ayurveda Health Coach (Level 2) training programs in Manhattan, with journeys to India, to integrate ancient and modern self-care. Competent guided instruction, plus experientials, a personal guru, online video-based homework, as well as module-based homework and self-care homework provide each student confidence in using ayurveda as first-line self-care and wellness. It is specially designed for health professionals looking to integrate Ayurveda and Yoga into their clinical practice.
DINacharya supports a dedicated group-learning experience in an environment of mutual respect. It is specifically designed for healthcare practitioners ready for evolution of their practices to include healing, science, and greater awareness, especially those with health care degrees and/or existing yoga certifications. Students with other clinical experience and demonstrated interest in yoga will be considered individually. Admission to the course is by application and mutual agreement only. Trainees will be applying Ayurvedic principles and practices to their own lives as well as to those of their family, friends and students.

DIN 1:1 Clinical Mentoring & Tutoring
Personal clinical mentoring by a licensed physician with integrative clinical experience and an ayurveda doctorate will help you develop practical aspects of your clinical practice, clinical protocols, and confidence. Sessions are tailored to your approach to thinking and organizing information, developing algorithms for understanding the basics of authentic clinical ayurveda, and logistic steps for building a successful practice. Legal issues are tutored based on your practice location. Expect intensive personal growth.
To find a mentor or tutor tailored to your needs, please write to us at dinacharyaNYC@gmail.com.
DIN 1:1 Clinical Research
You will learn how to read scientific research articles that echo the wisdom of Ayurveda, and you will learn how to write the best proof of Ayurveda -- case studies. The program emphasizes the authentic principles of Ayurveda and teaches you health communication, how to dumb-down profound clinical knowledge into language that makes it accessible to those who do not yet understand dosha-dhatu-srotas and Sanskrt.
Through correlation of classic concepts in the samhitas and emphasis on ayurvedic physiology and mechanisms of action, the wisdom of the classic texts are correlated with biomedical-allopathic language for the mainstream.
This program does not seek to validate the clinical wisdom of Ayurveda. It seeks to train the mainstream how to understand another science.
Research Interns will gain skills of accessing the research literature, and learning to communicate the science of authentic Ayurveda.
To learn in a program tailored to your needs, please write to us at dinacharyaNYC@gmail.com.
DIN Intensives provide teachings that fill gaps in your understanding of Ayurveda for the modern world.
We provide what we wanted when we were younger students: good teachers, focused learning, and practical applications taught in a fun and engaging way to help absorb the knowledge.
Real Teachers. Real Wisdom.
